11 a.m. service “Arise, then, women of this day: Mothers and more,” Janet French and the “More mothers”… The spirit of Mother’s Day lists where it will, encompassing, perhaps, cards and candy, but also harkening back to its 19th century origins promoting civic engagement and a women’s global movement for peace. Includes meditation to Bobby McFerrin’s hauntingly beautiful rendition of the 23rd Psalm, dedicated to his own mother.
