What is Self? How are we connected to the world around us? Ethyl reflects on her journey and examines what role we play in this interconnected web of beings, when living in a hierarchical society; as well as what are the deep systemic changes necessary in the face of the Climate Crisis. Ethyl Ruehman is 21 years old from Portage and now resides at Green Acres Permaculture Village in Bloomington. She was recognized as a Hoosier Resiliency Hero, IUN Newman Civic Fellow and revived the Save the Dunes 2020 Youth Environmental Dorothy Buell award. She is now studying at Indiana University Bloomington.
